The TRX-4M is compact enough to fit in a backpack, making it ready for action wherever you are. Small, powerful, and manoeuvrable, it turns virtually any space into an instant trail or crawling course, whether that is a stack of books indoors or a rock garden in the back garden.

The TRX-4M is equipped for tough off-road terrain, combining grippy soft-compound tyres with precision-engineered 4-link suspension geometry and smooth oil-filled shocks. High centre ground clearance, generous approach angles, and a low centre of gravity give the TRX-4M impressive capability across varied terrain.

A full 45 steering angle gives the TRX-4M an exceptionally tight turning radius and extreme manoeuvrability in confined spaces where every inch counts. The heavy-duty 2065T steering servo delivers powerful steering authority even on thick carpet.

The TRX-4M's oil-filled GTM shocks provide smooth suspension damping to keep the wheels firmly planted on uneven surfaces. The added control also reduces body movement on rough terrain, contributing to a more realistic driving experience.

The clipless body mounting system removes and installs in just seconds, with no clips to lose and no hook-and-loop tabs. The tough, highly detailed ABS body features moulded-in colour with a deep glossy finish that will not chip or scrape off.

TRX-4M features fully waterproof electronics, removing boundaries and restrictions on where you can drive. Traxxas waterproofing allows you to take the TRX-4M through wet grass, puddles, and streams that force other vehicles to turn around.

The TRX-4M Defender body is a precise 1:18 scale replica of the full-size vehicle. Bumpers, fender flares, roof rack, and spare tyre are all faithfully reproduced, while even the smallest details, including side mirrors, door handles, and wipers, are moulded in exacting detail for exceptional scale realism.

TRX-4M's 1.0in wheels are authentic scale replicas with moulded lug nut and beadlock details. TRX-4M uses a standard 7 mm hex, which makes wheel swaps a quick and easy process.

TRX-4M includes standard LED lighting in the front bumper. Optional Pro Scale LED lights, sold separately, can be added to introduce functional brake lights, headlights, reverse lights, and even emergency flashers.

The included 2-cell LiPo battery provides 7.4 volts of power and over an hour of runtime, with Traxxas iD technology for safety and simplicity. The specially designed iD connector plugs directly into the ECM-2.5.

The included 2-amp USB-A charger offers fast, convenient charging almost anywhere. Traxxas iD technology simplifies the process: just plug in the iD battery and the charger handles the rest. When the LED indicator turns green, charging is complete.

Traxxas' innovative clipless body mounting solution holds the replica bodies firmly in place no matter how rough the action gets. A quick pull on the hidden clips releases the body in seconds, with no body clips to lose or messy hook and loop tape.

The TRX-4M Defender features tough moulded fender flares that give the truck an aggressive appearance. They also protect the body from scrapes and damage, making them a practical as well as visual element of the model's design.

The TRX-4M Defender's Canyon Trail tyres are scaled versions of the standard TRX-4 rubber. Aggressive lugs across the tread are designed for dynamic traction, carrying the established TRX-4 tyre profile into the smaller platform.

The TRX-4M rides on a sophisticated four-link suspension with heavy-duty triangulated rods. Solid front and rear axles complement this setup to provide excellent articulation, allowing the truck to climb over the toughest obstacles.

The TRX-4M's heavy-duty centre driveshafts telescope freely to allow maximum suspension travel, accommodating the full articulation of the four-link suspension. Smooth-running CV joints are engineered for long-lasting, trouble-free performance, keeping the driveline working consistently throughout the suspension's range of movement.

Both front and rear axles are locked with spools to supply non-stop climbing power to all four wheels. Tough steel constant-velocity joints are fitted at the front axle, allowing an increased steering angle at the front wheels for tight turns.

The TRX-4M's oil-filled GTM shocks feature dual O-ring seals at the shaft, providing a consistent seal and smooth performance. Tuned specifically for the TRX-4M, the shocks smooth out bumps for a realistic and controlled ride on rough and uneven terrain.

The ECM-2.5 includes low voltage detection for 2S LiPo batteries and EZ-Set one-button programming for driving mode selection. Three modes are available: Sport Mode for general driving, Trail Mode with drag braking for descents, and Crawl Mode, which applies full brakes instantly on throttle release and allows direct progression to reverse.

The battery tray sits deep in the TRX-4M's chassis to concentrate weight as low as possible. A lower centre of gravity increases stability and reduces the risk of a rollover. A wide rubber strap keeps the battery locked in place and prevents the weight from shifting.

The TRX-4M's modular design lets you swap transmissions to change the truck's performance characteristics. Fit the low-range transmission for smooth low-speed torque, or choose the speed gearing option to increase top-end performance. Optional transmission ratios are sold separately.

The TRX-4M uses heavy-duty steel frame rails formed with a deep C-channel profile for maximum rigidity. The rails are taller through the middle section to deliver increased strength where it is needed most.

The Titan motor mounts securely to the transmission module with a fixed gear mesh that requires no adjustment. Its forward mounting position shifts the weight bias towards the front of the truck for improved crawling dynamics over obstacles.

The heavy-duty 2065T steering servo operates on full 6-volt power with a metal main gear, delivering precise control and powerful steering authority. The rugged one-piece drag link is positioned high up in the axle to avoid snags and impacts.

The TRX-4M runs on low-maintenance self-lubricating bushings and is assembled throughout with high-quality hex hardware. The bushings are low-maintenance by design, while the hex fasteners are chosen for long-term durability and secure fastening across the complete build.
