The BL-2s Brushless Power System is proven to deliver extreme power and wheel-standing torque in Traxxas 1:10 scale vehicles. Installed in Mini Maxx, BL-2s power punches well above its weight, bringing lightning-quick acceleration and a top speed of 30+ mph.

Mini Maxx is engineered to a higher standard with 1:10 scale 4X4 driveline components. Large steel-gear differentials, beefy 32-pitch gears, and heavy-duty U-joint driveshafts are built to far exceed requirements for strength and long life in a truck of this compact size.

Mini Maxx fits in a backpack yet is built to withstand all the bumps and bruises of the full-size world. Just one look at the rigid, unified structure and you know it is a Maxx, engineered for ultimate strength and packed into a supremely compact design.

Mini Maxx's clipless body is rock solid and easy to use. Drop the body onto the chassis and snap it into place for a secure hold. To change the battery, depress the tabs under the wheel wells and lift to access the chassis in just seconds.

Mini Maxx pairs 1:10 scale Ultra Shocks with a long-travel independent suspension to deliver WideMaxx handling and performance in a compact package. The beefy suspension is built for superior strength and refined damping control to maintain composure over the roughest terrain.

New 4in Sledgehammer tyres are ready for action with multiple layers of biting edges for sure-footed traction. Their open-block tread design clears mud and debris, and the heavy-duty rubber compound is specially formulated to resist tearing. New 2.6in dual-profile black wheels provide extra clearance for the suspension components and give Mini Maxx a tough, menacing appearance.

Tough nerf bars protect the Mini Maxx chassis from side impacts and provide additional side support to hold the body firmly in place. Both chassis protection and body-retention are served by the same set of nerf bars.

Mini Maxx's clipless body latches are neatly integrated into moulded body reinforcements that look great and protect the body. Unlike traditional posts and clips, these reinforcements spread impact forces over a wide area to minimise the risk of pull-through damage.

Rugged impact-absorbing bumpers front and rear protect the Mini Maxx chassis. The front bumper provides a high approach angle that allows Mini Maxx to climb up and over obstacles with ease, while the rear bumper accommodates the optional wheelie bar.

Mini Maxx uses the same full-size, oil-filled Ultra Shocks found on Traxxas 1:10 scale monster trucks, providing truly bottomless suspension travel. The large oil capacity and rugged design soak up big jumps and off-road abuse for smooth driving performance. They are straightforward to tune with a wide range of available oils, springs, and pistons.

The modular chassis features front and rear bulkheads that remove easily with just a few screws. In less than a minute with a power screwdriver, you have full access to the chassis for easy service and adjustment.

The fixed gear mesh system removes the guesswork from setting your gear mesh, offering multiple preset gearing positions. Simply insert the motor screw through the desired position for a consistent gear mesh every time. The fixed positioning also keeps the mesh tight even after the harshest impacts.

The waterproof BL-2s electronic speed control offers three separate drive profiles, low-voltage detection for LiPo batteries, patented Training Mode, and Thermal-Shutdown Protection to prevent overheating. The sensorless BL-2s 3300 Kv motor features an integrated cooling fan and delivers strong brushless performance with nearly zero maintenance.

A deep battery compartment shields the battery from impacts inside the reinforced chassis. A swivel clip hold-down firmly secures the battery in place, ready for fast and easy battery swaps.

Mini Maxx is built with Traxxas patented waterproof technology, meaning the electronics are not a limiting factor in where you drive. The waterproof construction is designed to keep your RC experience filled with fun and adventure, regardless of the weather.

If signal is lost due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the 3-channel receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last commanded steering position. The fail-safe programming is conveniently built in and requires no separate activation step.

Mini Maxx uses a full-size 2056 steering servo with dual bellcranks for zero bump steer geometry and smooth turning action in the harshest conditions. Oversize components and double-shear connections reinforce the steering setup, and a heavy-duty cam-style servo saver provides precise steering response with added protection against impacts.

Mini Maxx's double wishbone suspension arms maintain proper suspension geometry throughout the entire range of travel. Modelled after the full-size Maxx, they feature double-shear connections and extra material in critical areas, with the design focused on maximum strength and durability.

Mini Maxx uses hex-drive hardware throughout, which provides a more positive and secure connection than other fastener types. Each piece features a black-oxide coating that offers rust resistance alongside a purposeful, high-tech look and feel.

Tough interlocking skid plates fit closely into the Mini Maxx chassis to create a smooth, snag-free undertray. Designed to reduce wear and tear on the chassis, they are built to be easy to replace.

Mini Maxx's suspension components are engineered for heavy-duty strength that punches well above its size class. Modelled after the full-size Maxx, the caster blocks, steering blocks, and axle carriers feature robust construction, double-shear connections, and extra reinforcing in the areas where it matters most.

Large, sealed bearings are fitted throughout the Mini Maxx driveline to keep out grime and grit. Their sealed construction reduces the time and effort needed to clean and maintain the bearings, minimising downtime at the workbench.

Mini Maxx uses huge 32-pitch gears, normally found in much larger 4X4 vehicles. This oversized specification tackles the stripped-gear problem head-on and is built to deliver reliable performance no matter how much power is applied.

Mini Maxx uses a direct-drive transmission for instant throttle response and maximum power delivery. Huge 32-pitch gears and a fixed gear mesh support this ultra-responsive setup. For greater tuning flexibility, the optional centre differential (sold separately) can be fitted in place of the standard spur gear.

The driveshafts in Mini Maxx are 50% larger than standard 1:16 scale driveshafts, fortified for hard launches and big brushless horsepower. The oversized half shafts are built to handle 3-cell LiPo power and offer substantial articulation and suspension travel.

Mini Maxx's differentials are nearly twice the size of standard 1:16 scale differentials. Silicone gaskets and X-ring seals seal each unit, and allow you to tune the amount of locking action by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside.
