The gyro for electric models we've all been waiting for, the new FMS Reflex V3 offers all the attributes of the V2, with its three expert- and beginner-friendly flight modes yet adds a host of practical upgrades to provide more flexibility and more scope, all controlled by bluetooth parameter adjustment via a new smartphone app. In short, this means that you can now adjust gain, travel and stabilizing angles at the field and you can do it using an iOS, Android or Windows operating system. Download the app, pair with each gyro's unique identifying code and tailor the Reflex to precisely suit your requirements and flying style. Mirroring the Reflex V2, the V3 offers three transmitter-switchable flight modes: Stabilised, Optimised and Manual.

Stabilised Mode is effectively beginner mode, reducing the sensitivity of the aircraft by limiting control surface angles and employing self-levelling when no control inputs are detected.

Optimised Mode acts to maintain an aeroplane's flight path by counteracting gusts or crosswinds. In effect Optimised mode is a flight-smoothing function thats particularly good for smaller, lighter models.

Manual Mode simply switches the gyro functionality off, giving full manual control and no assistance.
