F-86 80mm EDF PNP Skyblazer

Building on their extensive experience in developing remote-controlled model fighter aircraft, FMS has made significant efforts to faithfully replicate the legendary and iconic F-86 "Sabre", in line with their product standard of perfect appearance, excellent performance. This model is packed with realistic features, including operable landing gear doors, retractable CNC-machined landing gear, functional airbrakes, wing navigation lights (red on the left, green on the right), jet nozzle navigation lights (one red, one white), and white landing lights. Exterior detailing at static model level has also been meticulously reproduced, including fuel tanks, a detailed cockpit interior with moulded plastic components, pitot tubes and antennas.

Eight 13g all-metal digital servos control the ailerons, flaps, rudder and elevator, accurately executing commands to simulate the manoeuvrability of a real jet. This allows for smooth and responsive manoeuvres such as pitching, rolling, yawing and flipping. Three 9g semi-metal servos operate the airbrakes and the front landing gear door. When integrated with the sequencer, the door opens and closes with a slight delay, perfectly synchronised with the movement of the landing gear to ensure safe and realistic operation.

The PNP configuration features a 12-blade 80mm ducted fan, a high-performance 3665-KV2000 brushless inrunner motor and a 100A ESC with a 5A switch-mode BEC. It is designed for use with a standard 6S 4000–5500mAh LiPo battery (sold separately). This powerful system provides outstanding flight performance, extended flight times, and a realistic turbine-like engine sound, perfect for immersive "combat" flying experiences.

To ensure structural integrity during high-stress flight conditions, the fuselage, wings and tail sections are reinforced with embedded strengthening tubes and reinforcement plates. The two-piece fuselage design reduces packaging volume by 30 per cent, making the model easier to transport and store. The F-86 is available in two classic liveries: "The Huff" and "Skyblazer", both highly recognisable in clear or overcast conditions.
