Introducing the ROC HOBBY F/A-18F Super Hornet

New from FMS, the highly detailed F/A-18F Super Hornet is now available — a tandem-seat, carrier-capable, multirole fighter and attack aircraft based on the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet.

Originally designed and developed by McDonnell Douglas, the Super Hornet first flew in 1995 and officially entered service with the United States Navy in 1999, replacing the Grumman F-14 Tomcat, which was retired in 2006. It continues to operate alongside the original Hornet in active service.

Detailed Scale Design and Fast Assembly

ROC HOBBY is proud to present the new 70mm ducted fan F/A-18F Super Hornet, featuring a wealth of scale detail and advanced construction techniques. Designed for convenience, the model incorporates optimised screw-based assembly, pre-installed ball links and a heavy-duty wing spar, allowing for quick and secure assembly and disassembly. Building on the popular 64mm F/A-18 Hornet platform, this 70mm version includes enhanced features such as clean aerodynamic lines, CNC-machined shock-absorbing landing gear and a button-type canopy hatch.

To personalise your aircraft, four decal sets are included so you can customise your Super Hornet and stand out at the flying field.

The aircraft is equipped with an upgraded 70mm 12-blade EDF V2 system and a KV1900 motor. When powered by a 6S battery, this configuration delivers powerful thrust, excellent speed and a deep, resonant turbine-like sound that enhances the realism of every flight.
