Aeronca

We are pleased to introduce the Aeronca C-3, designed by Pat Tritle. Designed to use stock off the shelf flying hardware for easy affordable flight.

A brief history of the model:
The Aeronca C-3, often dubbed the "Flying Bathtub" due to its quirky open-cockpit design, was a light sport aircraft produced in the early 1930s. Praised for its simplicity and affordability, the C-3 brought personal aviation to the masses during the golden age of flying. Despite its modest 36-hp engine, it earned a reputation for reliability and docile flying characteristics, making it a favourite among novice pilots of the era.
