A brief history of the model:
The Pietenpol Air Camper, first flown in 1928, is one of the most beloved homebuilt aircraft of all time. Designed by Bernard Pietenpol, it was intended to be simple, affordable, and buildable using common tools and materials — often powered by a Ford Model A engine. Its open cockpit, parasol wing, and classic lines made it an enduring favourite among grassroots aviators and experimental builders alike.
