A brief history of the model:
The Westland Lysander was a unique British liaison and reconnaissance aircraft, renowned for its ability to operate from rough, improvised airstrips. Introduced before WWII, it became legendary for flying secret agents and resistance personnel into and out of occupied France under the cover of night. With its high wing, fixed spats over the landing gear, and exceptional short takeoff and landing (STOL) performance, the Lysander stood apart in both form and function.
