A brief history of the model:
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was one of the heaviest and most rugged single-engine fighters of World War II. Nicknamed the "Jug," it was powered by a massive radial engine and known for its durability, firepower, and ability to absorb significant damage while delivering powerful ground-attack strikes. It also served as a high-altitude escort fighter, excelling in both air-to-air and air-to-ground roles across Europe and the Pacific.
