A brief history of the model:
The Fairchild FC-2 was a pioneering utility aircraft of the late 1920s, designed for versatility in roles ranging from cargo hauling to passenger transport and even Arctic exploration. With its high wing, enclosed cabin, and reliable performance, the FC-2 became a favourite among bush pilots and commercial operators alike. It was notably used by famed aviator Richard Byrd during his Antarctic expeditions.
