A brief history of the model:
The Spirit of St. Louis is one of the most iconic aircraft in aviation history, famously flown solo by Charles Lindbergh on the first non-stop transatlantic flight from New York to Paris in 1927. Built by Ryan Airlines, the aircraft was custom-designed for long-range flight and carried no forward-facing window—Lindbergh navigated with a periscope and sheer determination. Its success marked a turning point in public interest and confidence in aviation.
